Ethics and transparency

STIM will conduct its business according to clear ethical standards that are anchored in management and integrated into the corporate culture. The work to ensure and evaluate accountability is continuous and includes our own company, as well as our suppliers and business partners.

Our ethical framework consists of three main pillars:

  1. Human rights are an important part of our value base and influence how we treat our employees and take care of the environment. This includes the right to work, the right to a decent wage and working conditions, and the right to organize in trade unions.
  2. Compliance with applicable national and international laws and regulations at all times.
  3. Our own defined requirements, routines, and processes to ensure responsible business operations in our own companies and to demand the same from our suppliers and business partners.

STIM’s work to ensure responsible business operations is anchored in overarching policies that are in line with OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises.

The value chain

STIM’s responsibility does not end with our own companies. As part of a larger value chain, we also commit our suppliers and business partners to comply with our standards for responsible business through a prequalification process. New contracts will require compliance with and signing of our Supplier Code of Conduct.
